It was on INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN LAW AND MILITARY LAW (Brasilia, in 2000), in which representatives from 11 countries were present, expressed interest to establish an international association that brought together scholars of Military Justice and Military Law.
Thus, on 02.12.2003, at the II International Meeting on Humanitarian Law and Military Law, the AIJM was founded.
